Ensure Your Septic System is Not Faulty

- Sketch a map that depicts the location of all the components in your septic tank
- Pump out the tank once every three to five years
- Practice water conservation
- Don’t flush down excess solids as it may clog your drain field
- Avoid planting trees or shrubs near the drain field because the roots can damage the plug pipes.
